TV Unboxing Video and Damage Claim Policy

Purpose

At CIRCUIT HOUSE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of India, having its registered office at 2nd Floor, Sai Sharan Arcade, 2616, 27th Main Rd, 1st Sector, HSR Layout, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102 (“Company”), we are committed to ensuring that your television (“TV”) reaches you in perfect condition.

This TV unboxing video and damage claim policy (“Policy”) outlines the requirements for recording an unboxing video for all TV deliveries by the Company to facilitate verification and support any claims related to transit damage, missing accessories, or incorrect products.

1. Mandatory Requirements

1.1. Unboxing Video is Compulsory

  • A complete unboxing video must be recorded for every TV delivery.
  • The recording must start before opening the package and continue uninterrupted, without pauses, edits and cuts, until the TV and all included accessories have been removed and inspected.

1.2. AWB Label Must Be Captured

  • The shipment’s AWB (Air Waybill) label must be clearly visible and legible in the video.
  • The AWB label may be shown either at the beginning or end of the recording, but all details on the label must be clearly readable.

1.3. TV Inspection

The unboxing video must clearly show:

  • The sealed outer packaging before opening.
  • The unpacking process.
  • The TV screen, frame, and rear panel.
  • All accessories included in the box (such as remote control, stand, power cable, user manual, etc.).
  • Any visible physical damage, if present.

1.4. Video Quality

  • The recording must be clear, well-lit, and in focus.
  • The TV model and condition should be clearly visible during the inspection.

2. Claims & Disputes

2.1. Any claims regarding physical damage, screen damage, missing accessories, incorrect product delivery, or transit-related issues must be supported by an unboxing video that complies with this Policy.

2.2. The unboxing video must clearly show the condition of the TV and all included accessories at the time of delivery.

2.3. Any damage or discrepancy identified during unboxing must be reported within 24 hours of discovery at support@lumio.co.in.

2.4. The claims physical damage, screen damage, missing accessories, incorrect product delivery, or transit-related issues shall be submitted at support@lumio.co.in within the abovementioned time period. Claims submitted after the 24-hour reporting window may not be eligible for review. Claims shall be supported with the unboxing video, and if applicable, any other information required to facilitate the investigation.

2.5. Claims submitted without a valid unboxing video, or without clear visibility of the AWB label, may not be considered for review or resolution.

2.6. Please retain the video until your issue is fully resolved. It may be requested as part of the Company’s verification process.

2.7. Any photographs or videos shared with the Company for the purpose of submitting a claim will be used solely for the purpose of claim verification, quality assurance, fraud prevention and compliance with applicable legal obligations. Such information will be handled in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy.

3. Compliance

Failure to follow the above requirements, including the submission of a compliant unboxing video and reporting any damage within the specified timeline, may result in the rejection of claims related to the delivered TV.
